Does CR have Canadian holdings?

Yes. To date, our Canadian holdings and interests include Bodhi Research & Development Inc. and Resolve Digital Health.

Bodhi Research (Ontario) is a collaboration to explore the use of cannabis in the treatment of concussions and post-concussive syndrome with foremost expert in concussions, Dr. Neilank Jha (Neurosurgeon and Founder of Konkussion – the largest network of concussion clinics in North America). Research trials pending.

Resolve Digital Health (Toronto, Ontario) develops proprietary smart technology for the cannabis industry. Resolve’s Breeze Inhaler system is the world’s first smart inhaler with metered and monitored dosing technology, plus health program support and health team interconnectivity. Breeze Inhaler technology connects with the user’s smart phone via bluetooth to deliver rich information and integrated care.

CannaRoyalty has also acquired Electric Medialand (Ottawa, Ontario), an established full service digital marketing agency. Electric Medialand brings extensive expertise in cannabis sector marketing, branding and sales to support CannaRoyalty’s brands, drive commercialization and grow sales.

What U.S. states does CR have holdings in?

California, Florida, Washington (State), Oregon, Colorado and Arizona.

How do the recent Nov. 8, 2016 U.S. votes to legalize cannabis for medical and adult recreational use in additional states impact CR.

Four states legalized adult recreational cannabis (California, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada) and three approved medical use (Arkansas, Florida, North Dakota).

CannaRoyalty has investments in these key U.S. states. In California, CR has a total of eight holdings across key verticals. This includes an interest in BAS Research, a medical cannabis manufacturing and research group, which develops advanced, science-driven medical cannabis products. Based in Berkeley, BAS Research was recently featured on the leading syndicated medical television show, Dr. Oz.

In Florida, CR indirectly holds an equity interest in Alternative Medical Enterprises (AltMed), a company focused on the development, production and dispensing of medical cannabis, in addition to a royalty agreement on a suite of legal cannabis related products. AltMed and its subsidiaries are bringing pharmaceutical-industry-based science experience and integrated business knowledge to the development, production and dispensing of medical cannabis.

A total of 28 states and Washington, D.C. now allow some form of legal cannabis use, whether medical, adult recreational or both.

What is the growth potential of the U.S. legal cannabis market?

The US market is forecast to grow from $7.2 billion USD in 2016 to $22.8 billion by 2020 (ArcView Market Research). The 2026 Forecast is $50 billion (Cowen & Co.). In California alone (where CannaRoyalty has 8 holdings), the market is forecast to grow from its current $2.7 Billion to $6.6 billion by 2020 (ArcView Market Research).
